The Creek
Ranch is a traditional cattle ranch encompassing 8.200 acre, where on
the large pastures live the Black Angus cattle with their calves since
generations. Joe, the foreman of the ranch runs the cattle –
calf business like it has been done in old times, mostly on horseback.
Joe is a humorous, experienced cowboy, who was raised on a large cattle
ranch nearby. He knows everything about cattle and horses. Joe has won
the state championship in roping. So he can teach our guests good
horsemanship.

With the help of Joe,
our foreman and Joseph, our friendly and supportive ranch hand, Andrea
and Claudia have established a very promising working guest ranch.
The ranch headquarter is built in 2012 like one of the traditional Mexican-Spanish Haciendas with a magnificent living room. The high ceiling with big vigas, the comfortable fireplace, the inviting eating area and the open kitchen makes our guests feel to be in an old adobe hacienda. Beautiful paintings of dancing Native Americans and another impressive painting of bison keeps up the memory, when this land was still untamed. The well-spaced two portals invite to relax and marvel at the astounding view at the valley of the Pecos River. Friendly and bright double bed rooms with its own cosy bathroom make our guests feel at home during their riding vacations on the western guest ranch.

atmosphere of people, who love to live the western way of live, as the
ranchers and cowboys were used to in old times.

Our guests may work the
cattle or do other ranch work or may relax on the ranch house or may
join a guided horseback riding tour on one of the exciting trails on
the ranch. The Pecos River invites to fish or bathe. On this working
cattle and guest ranch the land is rich in variety: steep red bluffs,
deep arroyos, gorgeous canyons, high mesas, the lush, green valley of
the Pecos River and the lovely course of the Carrizo Creek.
